Brash partnered with Breathesuite to design a compact, easy-to-use add-on for Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs) that promotes proper breathing technique and addresses widespread misuse. The team tackled challenges like seamless MDI integration, optimal battery life, and medical compliance, designing the device’s enclosure, firmware, hardware, and PCB. They also optimized performance by switching to a disposable battery and developing advanced machine-learning algorithms.
