Smart Baby Bottle Monitor
A tech innovator by trade, Veba's founder envisioned a solution to enhance infant care: a device and mobile app that monitor the quality of milk or formula in baby bottles and alert caregivers of unsafe conditions. Through integrated industrial design, engineering, UI/UX design, software development, and branding, we partnered with Veba to bring this vision to life. Veba has since won a CES Innovation Award and was featured on an episode of Shark Tank.
Design that reflects intent.
Our product designers chose an unobtrusive aesthetic for the Veba device, using a silicon band with a playful wave pattern that allows flexibility for different-sized bottles while maintaining visibility for LED indicators. The design reflects Veba's calm brand, with a custom logo, color palette, app, and packaging to create a cohesive user experience.
Let the hardware do the thinking.
Our engineers designed custom firmware, PCB, and integrated sensors for the smart monitoring device, enabling tracking of events like bottle-feeding and unsafe temperatures. Algorithms, researched and validated in-house, automatically adjust safety parameters on the mobile app based on milk type, freezing/thawing status, and feeding history.
